Barista - Imperial Cafe

Imperial Cafe is looking for a passionate, energetic, and customer-focused Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista at Imperial Cafe, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional experience for our customers by crafting delicious coffee beverages and providing outstanding service. Whether you are brewing the perfect espresso, preparing specialty drinks, or interacting with guests, your contribution will ensure our cafe remains a welcoming and efficient space for everyone.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and serve a wide variety of high-quality coffee, espresso-based drinks, tea, and other beverages
2. Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all customers by providing attentive and professional service
3. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including espresso machines, counters, and cafe areas
4. Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other coffee equipment to ensure the best beverage quality
5. Accurately process transactions and handle cash and credit card payments
6. Assist with daily opening and closing duties, ensuring the cafe is ready for service and cleaned at the end of each day
7. Handle customer requests, provide recommendations, and address concerns with a positive attitude
8. Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring the cafe maintains adequate stock levels
9. Adhere to health and safety guidelines and ensure all food and beverage handling is done in accordance with regulations
10. Support a teamwork environment, collaborating with other staff to ensure smooth operations during peak times

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer-facing role is preferred but not required
2. Strong passion for coffee and an eagerness to learn about various coffee beans, brewing methods, and drink recipes
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage customers and create a positive cafe experience
4. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
5. A friendly, approachable demeanor with a customer-first attitude
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
8. Must have a professional appearance and demeanor
